STOP - CARBON SEQUESTRATION NOW!!
FOR YEARS THOSE THAT WE ELECTED TO SERVE US HAVE BEEN IGNORING OUR VOICES ABOUT THIS ISSUE - LET US SAY IT A BIT LOUDER FOR THE WORLD TO HEAR.
Stand Up Against this assault.
Louisiana, families, landowners, and communities are being forced to fight back against one of the most dangerous and unjust overreaches of government power in our lifetime: the abuse of eminent domain to allow carbon sequestration projects on private land. This is not what eminent domain was ever meant to be. It was created for projects that truly serve the common good — roads, schools, utilities — not for risky experimental ventures that line the pockets of the energy industry and the politicians who support them. Yet, our legislature has quietly added carbon sequestration to eminent domain law, giving corporations the power to seize private land even when the people overwhelmingly say “No.”
The truth is simple: this is a money grab. The energy sector and their political allies stand to profit, while ordinary families are left with the risks — and those risks are enormous. Our region is crisscrossed with fault lines, multiplying the danger of leaks, ruptures, and induced seismic activity. A failure could poison our air, water, and soil, destroy property values, and cause irreversible harm to the land our children and grandchildren will inherit. And for what? The return on carbon sequestration is minimal — a costly, experimental solution with no proven long-term safety — while the risks to life, property, and future generations are immeasurable.
This fight is about more than pipelines and wells — it’s about our rights, our safety, our land, and our future. Together, we’re standing up to say NO to eminent domain abuse, NO to corporate greed disguised as “climate solutions,” and NO to endangering South Louisiana communities in the name of profit. Our land, our homes, and our children’s future are on the line — and silence is not an option. For too long, those in power have ignored the voices speaking out, but together we can make them hear us.
Put a sign in your yard to bring awareness to this as it has been hidden - show that our community is united and refuses to be dismissed. Then, ask everyone you know — friends, neighbors, and family — to stand with us.
Every sign we raise and every voice we add builds pressure they can’t turn away from. Finally, sign the petition and help send a message loud and clear: we will protect our land, our families, and our future — no matter what.
"Louisiana’s leaders have no right to endanger our families or experiment on our delicate land. Governor Landry must act now to stop this before property is taken and irreversible harm is done to our wetlands and communities."

Save My Louisiana is taking a stand for every landowner, every family, and every community in our state. They are preparing to file Louisiana’s first lawsuit against the state for violating citizens’ constitutional rights through the reckless expansion of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
This isn’t just about politics — it’s about protecting our land, our water, and our freedom. The people of Louisiana deserve transparency, accountability, and a government that serves We the People, not corporate interests.
Stand with us in this historic fight.
Every dollar makes a difference.
